Idaho

After our Utah trip we decided to take the journey to Yellowstone National Park.  On our way to the cabin we heard about Bear World outside of Rexburg ID.  We decided to stop and check it out.  It was seriously amazing!  The kids had so much fun.  With admission you get to see the cutest bears, feed animals in the petting zoo, go on some rides and take a driving tour to see bears and other wildlife roaming freely.  The kids were a little nervous at first to feed the animals but when they figured it out they were stoked.  Chloë especially loved it.  Delilah and Alice loved feeding the fish where we saw a giant moose in the water.  We were cracking up with the giant bear saying that's what it's going to feel like when Chloë has her first boyfriend.  Like a bear is coming to pray on her.  We got stuck in the road waiting for some animals to cross.  A bear looked like it was gonna crawl on our hood to get the bugs off so Gerrit flashed his lights to move the bear.  We loved it so much we drove through twice!  After Bear World we drove on to Island Park.  We were able to stay in Brennan's families cabin!  We immediately explored the surroundings and gathered giant Milk Weeds and flowers.  In the morning the girls were out exploring and came in and I noticed they had bites all over their bodies that were bleeding!  It was a little freaky.  They didn't even know what bit them and I quickly took off their clothes and got them in the shower.  We never figured the bites out but they stayed on their skin for weeks!  The cabin was still so fun.  If only we could have stayed longer!

Hey Kam. We're SO sad we didn't get to see you guys. You were right here, so close. Dang it. Thanks for trying. Sorry our schedule didn't work out. We've been to Yellowstone Bear World up by Rexburg... it rocks! :) Hopefully someday soon we'll both be living in Florida close to each other and we can hang out more often!!
