We did take a fun road trip to see gators and other things, except my camera was dead. So bummer. Here we are on the next day.
It had been a pretty cold day and we headed to see the sunset. We found a pretty good spot without a lot of wind, but Chloë was freezing. So she sipped hot chocolate to stay warm. Come to find out she was really sick and had Pneumonia.
Some how Janell talked me into taking the most cheezy picture of my life.
For Valentine's Day we made some fun bags to put Valentine's in.
Later that night we were hit with 2 screaming kids in a ton of pain. They hadn't been acting like themselves for a while and we knew they were a little sick. Chloë awoke with 104 temperature and Delilah was screaming and holding her ear. So we went to the ER. We spent 4 hours in the ER to find that Delilah had an ear infection and Chloë had Pneumonia. We left at about 3:30am with antibiotics, 2 shots in the butt and 4 worn out people. After that visit everyone started feeling much better.
Gerrit started his second semester of school while his parents were here. Since the weather was cold and rainy we hit up the Collier County Museum. It was FREE! Pretty nice place.
This was Chloë's favorite. CANNONBALL!
We also had heard about this Manatee Park in Ft Myers. We still had never seen a Manatee so we drove over to see some. The park was really nice. Lots of trails, Manatees, a playground, and a cute list of things for kids to check off when they find them.

sounds like you guys have been having some fun times in fl! how nice to have visitors! i haven't looked at blogs in years. you have been so good at blogging i think we've traded places. anyway, excited to see you guys next month! carter is counting the days!

Are you guys going to be in Cali at all this summer? Prob not since you'll have a newborn. But we'll be there for the 4th of july if you are!

Funny that I was talked into taking that same pregnancy pic with my sister-in-law last weekend in Utah. Such a good black mail pic. You look adorable though :)
We had so much fun visiting! I wish we could have stayed longer. Wasn't the baby bump picture such a special moment?
It's so sad that the girls were sick, but I'm glad they started feeling better after their trip to the hospital! They were still so cute and playful even though they didn't feel well.
New tradition: Florida every February!
