Virginia Beach

Gerrit and I did a mini South East road trip last week.  We first started in Virginia Beach VA where we rented a car for the week.  After all Virginia is for Lovers.  We had a cute little hotel right on the beach.  In the morning we walked around and felt the sad on our feet.  We miss the beach so much.  The weather was a little chilly but it was ok.  They had a cool boardwalk where tons of people were walking and riding bikes.  We started driving around the area and saw a sign for the lighthouse.  We decided to see what that was about.  It was a lighthouse on the Navy Base which was a super cool find.  We had quite the check to get on the base, but at least they were being careful.  We walked the grounds of the first US light house and got to go inside.  It was so cool and had such a pretty view.  After we saw some pretty amazing beach houses.  I wouldn't mind owning any one of them.  Later in the afternoon we headed to Charleston South Carolina.
