We kept the tradition alive of visiting Granner and Grandpa at the grave on Christmas Eve. We like to sing a few carols and this year Terry came with Carly! It was fun to see them since Terry is living so far away in the Caribbean. She shared a few stories and we had fun visiting. We even visited "Grandpa Sparky" One time Granner wanted a picture by the grave but the tree was too shady so we moved over and took a picture next to another grave. This happened to be "Grandpa Sparky" We still laugh at this story. After the visiting we went to Karis and Marty's for pizza and a fun Christmas program. Kate played the piano and the girls sang. Braedon gave us a sweet guitar solo. The kids opened jammies and jumped on the trampoline together. Then it was home and off to bed for Santa. We put out special letters for him and some treats. The kids sprinkled grinch dust so he wouldn't come steal our Christmas.
Chloë was the first to wake up at 6:45am. We told her we needed to wait until at least 7. Then she took it upon herself to wake up her sisters and bring them in our room. We took our picture at the top of the stairs and headed down! The kids got what they wanted from Santa. They were all pretty excited about it too. Chloë used some of her own money to get presents for people. She picked Thomas jimmies for Alice, a Minion robe for Delilah and a really funny hat connected to a beard for dad. The girls big gifts were Kindles. They were really excited. Then they spent the entire day playing Rayman Legends on the XBOX. Alice was so tired she fell asleep watching her new Disneyland Train set from Gigi and Grandpa. So I wasn't able to get a "loot" picture of her. We had a wonderful Christmas and we can't wait till next year. Delilah noticed this year that Christmas had the word Christ in it. It was so cute that she put that together all on her own. I'm grateful for Christ in my life and for the plan of salvation and this beautiful family I've been blessed with.
