2nd Annual Palm Springs Trip

Last year was our first annual Palm Springs trip with the Boswell girls crew.  We had such a fun time we wanted to do it again.  Camille and Laura do such a great job finding cute places to stay.  This year we had quite a few less but it was still so fun and relaxing.  Rachael and I drove together and met Dana, Meredith, Camille and Laura in Palm Springs at house #1.  All black, white and yellow it was a retro cuteness overload!  We grabbed some lunch and groceries and went for a swim.  Later that night we had some unexpected roommates.  A family of cockroaches!  We stayed up til 3 am that night.  The kicker was when Dana pulled a blanket out of our closet and underneath was a huge pile of roach poop and the BIGGEST roach I've ever seen.  It was a little disturbing so the next day we moved.  Another cute house with another amazing pool.  The party continued.  We did lots of eating out and hit up some of our favorites.  We hit up Bill's Pizza twice, Sherman's Deli and Las Casuelas Terraza.  After a meal that stuffed me to the brim I had the nerve to order a Smore's shake at Great Shake.  It was incredible.  This year we took the Palm Springs Aerial tramway and hiked around for a bit.  The tram is huge and the ride is 10 minutes.  You start at 2,000 feet and end at 8,500 feet.  The views are spectacular, but a little freaky as well.  The floor rotates 360* so you can see your surroundings the entire ride.  Palm Springs was a super fun trip.  It's fun to connect with family and just spend time together.  Until next year!
