England

Chloë learned all about immigrants and Ellis Island in school.  They had to put together a project of where their family was from.  We chose England.  We had fun making her poster and finding English things.  We dressed Barbie as if she was a teenager in London and bought HobNobs an English cookie at World Market.  Then we set up in the cafeteria where all students put their work on display.  It was really cool to see so many different countries and try some cool food.  It was a success.  Per Chloë's request we put a picture of the one and only Morrissey.

How fun! We'd love to make it over there sometime. All the kids learn British English here, which the girls think is pretty funny. One of our neighbors is from England. She always says, "I'll give you a ring." Macy wondered what kind I was going to get. Chole's teacher's name sounds German. Dorf means village.
