When you hear your best friend is coming to visit you get super stoked. When you hear she is staying for one day you get super bummed. Then you make the best of it! Summer had a crazy crazy flight getting here. Late flight = missed connection = flying to Ft. Lauderdale = getting to my house 2 hours from Ft. Lauderdale at 4 am. Annoying flight aside we had a great time with our families! We of course hit up the beach for a few hours. It was super relaxing and hot hot! Niya loved the water and couldn't stay out of it. We ate some lunch a little too late and were too stuffed for dinner, but we were not missing out on an opportunity to go out to eat. So around 8pm we went to Buca Di Beppo. The A/C was broken in there and I wanted to scream, but it turned out to be really good food and fun. The next morning we had to say goodbye. Needless to say I was a depression case the whole next day. Miss you Quist family!
