Fall Break Time (Dinseyland Time)

Gerrit is so sweet he let us get Disneyland Annual Passes again this year.  We were headed for a week of beach and Disney when Gerrit decided to come last second so we could go to a Motorcross event.  It was the Red Bull Straight Rhythm.  First event of its kind.  We had fun.  It was hot but that didn't ruin anything for Gerrit.  We had some good seats right in front of one of the jumps.  The final 2 riders were brothers!  Sad that one had to lose.  Adam came too and they drove home together so they could work on Monday.  Wish he could have stayed longer but someone's gotta pay for those passes.

 We went to Disneyland 3 days.  We were pretty tired, but it was worth it.  Alice in Wonderland was open again!  It was so cute to see Alice sitting by Chloë on that ride.  I felt like the kids seemed older this time.  Even Alice didn't make me hold her the entire time.  The Nightmare Before Christmas is up and running in the Haunted Mansion.  This ride is so cool like this.  Delilah loved it and wanted to ride it over and over (not just for cotton candy this time) The coolest part about the ride is they Disneyland Bakers make a Gingerbread house every year for the ride.  Each year the style is different.  I think it's so crazy that it is real!  The aroma of Gingerbread fills the air in that part of the ride.  Of course we saw our besties Mickey and Pooh Bear.

The times we weren't at Disneyland we were at the beach.  The kids had fun playing in the sand and Chloë really liked the boogie board this time.  She even ditched a day of Disney to go to the beach!  

 We had a fun baby shower for Laura while we were in town.  The desert was so tasty.  We had fun all together.  Baby Suman is due November 10th!

 We met Papa at Baja Fish Tacos before Disneyland one day.  It's always fun to eat there with him and catch up.  The girls really love Papa.  Disneyland was pretty crazy that day and we had to park in a lot I've never parked in before.  We actually had to take a bus!  Alice loves busses.  She was excited to be on a bus ride! Chloë got to go on some of her favorite rides.  Thunder Mountain and we got soaked on Splash Mountain.  We went 2 times in a row at the end of the day so we were a little cold.  We checked in with Pooh Bear and he made sure Alice's Pooh Bears were well fed on honey.  Alice actually sat on a horse this time on the carousel!  She normally makes me hold her on the bench.  I was so excited!  Mom got all the girls some BEST FRIENDS FOREVER necklaces.  They looked so cute wearing them.  

 Jarond and Hoagie came to mom's for a visit.  We went to lunch with Brandon and Sarah.  They live in San Diego area now.  It was nice to see them again.  The next day we met dad and Paula for dinner at Smash Burger.  We checked out their new clubhouse and ate some desert.  We had a great time!
