This year the kids really wanted a trampoline, but instead of just buying one for no reason we said it was a joint birthday present. Gerrit built the trampoline while the girls were at school and we surprised them when they got home. They were insanely happy! Dan and Janell were in town and we took Chloë out of school for her free birthday lunch at Joe's Farmhouse Grill. Later we enjoyed Chloë's birthday with Gerrit's bbq chicken and rice and a small family get together. I can't believe my little Chloë is 9 years old! A few years and she will be my full time babysitter! Beyond that though Chloë is a masterpiece of a child. She continues to be so amazing and well rounded. We are so lucky to have her as an example to her sisters and us. Love you Clo
