This year we spent Easter with the Smiths. Of course we live with them right now, so they didn't have a choice. The Easter Bunny left 6 baskets for all 6 kids. They were excited to see what was in them. After church we spent some time doing art, blowing bubbles and playing on the trampoline. Karis and I made an Easter dinner of chicken, potatoes, green beans, braided bread, fruit salad and cheesecake. Megan, Rachelle and her boyfriend Steve joined us for the night. Before we sat down to eat we hid our prepped eggs and the kids ran around like maniacs. Alice wasn't so sure about what was happening, but she liked the candy! I'm excited to spend many more holidays with family close by. It's been a long time since that's happened.
