Luckily we had a dad on Easter. West Palm Beach is a killer. Never fail, Easter Sunday was amazing. Saturday night we dyed our eggs. Dying eggs as a kid was really fun. I remember it being a lot better than it is now. HAHA. It's still a fun activity though. I remember searching the back yard for eggs hidden in the most random of places. Thanks mom and dad. They hid the real and fake eggs which made it interesting. Good thing they kept count of the real eggs or that would be a stinky mess. Gigi sent us a fun Easter package and the girls loved it of course. New buddies! Later that night we couldn't take Chloë's loose tooth anymore. Gerrit got that thing out with at lot of work. She was really brave and was doing great until she asked me to come in the bathroom with them. It was all waterworks from there. Finally it popped out and a sigh of relief for the entire household. Why are loose teeth so annoying? We decided she was a lucky girl to get the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy in the same night. We put her special tooth in a tiny easter egg under her pillow. The next morning the girls awoke to cute baskets filled with treats and Bambi figurines. We headed to church and enjoyed a spiritual morning. We were able to hang and play games before we headed to Lowdermilk Beach Park for our pot luck Easter dinner and sunset. Rachel's family was in town and the Laney's came too! We had a wonderful day filled with family and love. I could get used to having my husband around.
